Checked Baggage Summary

There is no free baggage allowance on Transavia flights. It is recommended to purchase a checked baggage allowance online at the Transavia website. Rates are 7 EUR for a 15kg bag, or 10 EUR for a 20kg bag. A total of 50kg is allowed per person.

If you do not purchase online or through the call centre, the fee paid at the airport may be significantly higher than if you purchase ahead of time. You will also be limited to a maximum of only 15kg.

Excess/Oversize/Overweight Summary

Overweight luggage can be purchased ahead of time (online or call centre) in 3kg increments. Every 3kg will cost you 20 EUR.

Bringing an additional bag will cost an extra 10 EUR, in addition to purchasing the weight allowance.

Again, it is recommended to plan ahead and purchase online, as the airport fees will be higher.
