For transatlantic flights, this bag may weigh up to 12kg. You're limited to only 5kg of carry-on if flying regionally on smaller plans.

Excess Baggage on Air Caraibes Transatlantic Flights
An extra bag can be purchased ahead of time of 75 EUR (minimum 24 hours ahead, purchase online), or for a price of 100 EUR less than 24 hours before departure or at the airport. Maximum 3 bags total, including free baggage allowance.

Excess Weight: Overweight bags on Air Caraibes will be charged a fee of 50 EUR for bags weighing between 23-32kg (50-70lbs). Bags over 32kg will not be accepted.

Excess Baggage on Air Caraibes Regional Flights
An extra piece will be charged a fee of 20 EUR for the first extra bag. A second extra bag will be charged a fee of 30 EUR.

Excess Weight: 2 EUR / kg for exess weight over 23kg. Maximum weight of 32kg. Bags over 32kg will not be accepted.

NOTE: supplements per piece of extra baggage are not allowed to / from Santo Domingo and Port au Prince from Saint-Martin Grand Case because of the take-off weight restriction.
