Each passenger may bring on board one single piece of unchecked luggage. Its weight should not exceed 10 kg and its dimensions should be 55cmx40cmx20cm.

For each passenger, except for infants who are not entitled to a baggage allowance, the weight limit for checked-in baggage is 30 kg all together for a maximum of two pieces of baggage, the sum of whose length, height and width measurements must not exceed 160 cm. A charge is payable for all baggage carried in the hold.

Pooling baggage weight allowances amongst several passengers is not allowed. In addition, the allowance for checked baggage is for each individual passenger so is personal and cannot cumulated and/or shared with other passengers, meaning it cannot be pooled and/or shared at the time of check-in with that of other passengers on the same flight.

Sports Equipment
The transportation of technical and professional material, sport, golf and scuba diving equipment, bicycles, windsurf boards, water and snow ski is subject to a fee of 5 euros per Kg. For bookings, it is necessary to contact the Call Center. If the equipment is not reserved at the boarding moment, the fee can be paid at the check in following the same conditions.

Bicycles transportation is allowed ONLY in the hold. The bicycle must be properly packed with the handlebar blocked and turned toward the bicycle body, and the wheels must be deflated and dismantled as well as the pedals. Moreover, at the airport the passengers will have to fill in the form for the responsibility discharge for the eventual bicycle damage during the transportation.

Musical instruments

On blu-express flights, any musical instrument that measures than 100 cm in length must be checked in as hold baggage. Instruments longer than this will not be accepted. The acceptance and carriage of musical instruments is separate from the normal baggage allowance and depends on the kind of aircraft used. There is a charge of EUR 30 per instrument.

It is possible to transport violins, harps or other musical instruments in the cabin by booking and paying for a seat, as long as their dimensions are within the limits set out by the company. In this case the instrument must be transported in a hard case whose maximum dimensions are as follows: 52 cm wide x 40 cm deep x 135 cm high on a 737. These dimensions include any footrest on the case, if not dismantled. Double basses will not be transported in the cabin.

Instruments must be presented at the check-in desk at least 60 minutes prior to the gate%u2019s scheduled closing time.
