You may carry 1 piece of hand baggage on board the aircraft. The maximum permitted dimensions (please ensure that you include the bag's handles and wheels) for this item are 50 x 35 x 23cm and it should not exceed 10 kilos in weight. If you are travelling in Flybe Economy Plus you may also carry a laptop.
Note that Loganair can only accept hand baggage up to a maximum of 40cm x 35cm x 18cm.
There is no free baggage allowance with Flybe, you will have to pay for all checked bags.
It is possible to buy a baggage allowance of 15, 20, 23, or 40kg. This can be paid for online or at the airport. We would recommend that you purchase your baggage allowance online, as you will get a much better price than when paying at the airport (up to 40% savings).+ Show Full Policy
Flybe Economy passengers can pay in advance for bags at a discounted rate. The allowance varies according to the option selected:
A Small bag allows you to carry one bag weighing up to 15 kilos
A Medium bag allows you to carry one bag weighing up to 20 kilos
If you purchase Extra Kilos you may carry one bag weighing up to 23 kilos
By Going Large you can carry 2 bags weighing up to 40 kilos in total
The maximum permissible weight, for health and safety reasons, for any single item of checked in baggage is 30 kilos.
Please note that, because we also need to allow passengers to carry skis, the additional 20 kilos purchased by Going Large will only be carried on a space available basis if you are travelling to or from the following airports; Chambery, Berne, Geneva and Salzburg.
If we are unable to carry your bag to any of these destinations we will refund your second bag fee. This does not affect bookings for skis confirmed through the Flybe Customer Call Centre.
The following rates and allowances will apply for any bags booked in advance on flybe.com:
So plan ahead and choose your bag at any time up to 4 hours before departure and fly with peace of mind that there will be no unexpected charges when you get to the airport.
Passengers who choose to pay for additional bags within 4 hours of the flight will not receive the additional weight allowance and will be charged our standard airport weights.
