Each checked bag on Cayman Airways must weigh less than 55lbs (25kg), and not exceed 62 inches when you total the length plus width plus height. When traveling to Cayman Brac or Little Cayman via the Twin Otter Service, baggage allowance is only 55lbs per person, and only one 15 lb carry-on is allowed.

The overweight fees are quite harsh with Cayman Airways, so it is best to try and avoid them whenever possible.
$100 is charged for each of 3rd 4th or 5th bags, and increasing to $175 each for a 6th, 7th or 8th bag.
Overweight bags, weighing more than 55lbs, will also be charged $50 per bag. If it weighs more than 70lbs, this fee will increase to $175 per bag.

Any piece over the free baggage allowance or baggage that exceeds the size and weight limitations will be subject to additional charges. Excess baggage is transported on a space-available basis and will be carried subject to load capacities of the aircraft. Other restrictions may apply.
