Dimensions and weight
Each passenger is allowed one hand baggage item that should not exceed 55 cm. x 40 cm x 20 cm or weigh over 8 kg (5kg on flights operated by A/M ATR).
Dress carriers and briefcases are classified as hand baggage.

Checked Baggage Summary

Air Italy does not provide any free baggage allowance for Economy passengers.

On Domestic flights, your first bag will cost 10 EUR, and 55 EUR for a second bag. Bags are limited to 23kg/50lbs each.

On International flights, 17 EUR will be charged for a first checked bag (23kg/50lbs), and 70 EUR for a second bag. On intercontinental flights, the 17 EUR charge allows for 3 bags, but total combined weight is limited to 20kg/44lbs.

Special rules apply if flying to/from Brazil, Dakar, Cuba, New York, and the Canary Islands.
