The Air North carry-on allowance is dependant on the type of aircraft you're flying. The larger Boeing 737 allows for up to 2 pieces, maximum 10kg each (22lbs).
If your flight is on the smaller Hawker Siddeley 748, you'll be limited to 13 lbs of carry-on, about 6kg.
You should be able to check on your ticket which aircraft you'll be flying with, or contact Air North directly to confirm+ Show Full Policy
For the convenience and safety of all passengers the following dimensions will be used to determine the allowable carry-on baggage for each aircraft type:
Carry-on items can be checked for size by using the sizing device located at the check-in counter indicated by the signage shown on the right.
Carry-on baggage must be stored under the seat in front of you or in the overhead compartment. Please be aware that available space varies from one aircraft type to another.
You're allowed to free checked bags on all flights, but the total weight is also dependant on aircraft size, like with the carry-on allowance.
If flying on the Boeing 737, you're entitled to 45kg (100lbs) of baggage in total, split over 2 bags.
The total weight allowed if flying on the smaller Hawker Siddeley 748 is only 20kg (44lbs). You're allowed 2 bags as well, but it's the total weight of both bags together that count. In this case, it's usually best to simply take a single bag of 20kg.
Keep in mind that no single bag is allowed to weigh more than 32kg, or you will be charged an overweight fee.+ Show Full Policy
Each checked bag must have an identification tag.
Baggage and carry-on articles will be carried within the space and weight limitation of the aircraft.
All baggage or goods presented for transportation are subject to inspection by our personnel.
No articles of baggage or goods will be carried when that article is likely to endanger the aircraft, persons or property; are likely to be damaged by air carriage; or if the carriage of that article would violate any applicable law, regulation, or order.
