Air Europa is quite generous with their carry-on allowance, allowing up to 10kg/22lbs to be carried on in one piece of hand luggage. Business Class passengers are allowed up to 14kg.+ Show Full Policy
Air Europa Economy passengers may bring one piece of carry-on luggage, with a maximum weight of 10kg, on all flights.
Air Europa Business Class passengers are allowed one piece of carry-on with maximum weight of 14kg on Domestic and European flights. For intercontinental flights, Business Passengers are allowed a total of 18kg carry-on limit, split among 2 pieces of carry-on luggage.
The maximum permitted dimensions are 55 x 35 x 25 cm or that the sum of length + width + height not exceeding 115 cm ( 45 in).
Passengers are also allowed to carry the following items free of charge:
a).- A handbag, wallet or purse adequate to the normal cloths worn for the trip, as long as they are not used as a container for the transport of articles that would receive the consideration of luggage if carried somewhere else.
b).- A reasonable quantity of reading items for the flight.
c).- An overcoat, coat or travel rug.
d).- An umbrella and/or a walking stick.
e).- A small photographic camera and/or a pair of binoculars and laptop.
f).- A basket/crib for the transportation of babies.
g).- Children’s food for consumption during the flight.
h).- A folding wheelchair and/or a pair of crutches or any other prosthetic items as long as they are strictly necessary for the passenger.
Tourist/Economy class passengers are typically allowed 1 bag of up to 23kg/50lbs as their free checked baggage allowance.

Air Europa Economy Baggage Allowance
The allowance for all flights is 1 piece with a maximum weight of 23 kg.
- On routes to and from Bolivia, Venezuela, Peru and Senegal, the allowance is 2 pieces of 23 kg each, except for flights to and from Alicante, Almeria, Asturias, Badajoz, Málaga and Valencia.
- On routes from Dominican Republic the allowance is 2 pieces of 23 kg each, except for flights to and from Alicante, Málaga and Valencia.
- On routes to and from Brazil, 2 bags of 32 kg each are allowed.
Air Europa Business Class Baggage Allowance - Domestic / European Flights
- The allowance for all flights is 2 suitcases with a maximum weight of 23 kg each.
Air Europa Business Class Baggage Allowance - Intercontinental Flights
- The allowance on all flights is 3 suitcases with a maximum weight of 23 kg each, except routes to and from the USA, on which 2 bags of 32 kg each are allowed.
- On flights to and from Brazil, 3 bags of 32 kg each are allowed.
Measurements: 158 cm when adding together width, length and height.
Children and infants are entitled to the same baggage allowance as adult passengers.
Members of SkyTeam Elite and Elite Plus are entitled to one additional item.
If you are on connecting flights with different airlines or travelling under a code share flight, please check their baggage allowances as they may differ from Air Europa's. Depending on the agreements between companies, in some cases it will not be possible to check in the baggage until the final destination.

A second bag will typically cost 50 EUR if purchased online. Otherwise, the price is 60 EUR.
If within the bag limit, but your bags are overweight, you will be charged an overweight fee of 60 EUR for bags between 23-32kg (50-70lbs). It is typically more economical to pack into 2 separate bags, as for the same price you will be entitled to another full 23kg.+ Show Full Policy
Where the baggage allowance is 23 kg, check-in bags exceeding this weight (24 to 32 kg) will be charged at €60 each. If resident discounts apply, this cost will be €14.
Excess weight is permitted up to 32 kg per item upon payment of the applicable fees.
No item may weigh more than 32 kg. If this limit is exceeded, the excess must be repacked as a new item, subject to payment of the excess fee.
If flying with Air Europa and you are bringing additional bags over the allowed limit to the number of pieces allowed on your ticket, these are the fees you will be charged:
On domestic and European flights, the cost of each additional bag (up to 23 kg) will be €50 (€60 on the day of the flight).
On intercontinental flights, if the 2nd case is not included in the limit, it will be charged at €50 (€60 on the day of the flight). The 3rd and successive bags will be charged at €100 each (€150 on the day of the flight).
Additional bags are not permitted in the following cases:
flights from/to Portugal
flights to Bolivia
flights to Senegal
flights from Alicante, Almeria, Asturias, Badajoz, Málaga and Valencia, via Madrid
flights between Palma de Mallorca and Valencia
flights between Madrid and Valencia
flights to Lima / Buenos Aires from any origin to destination Lima and Buenos Aires for flights from 15 June to 15 August and 15 November to 15 January.
