Bicycles are accepted on-board Spirit Airlines flights after paying the applicable bicycle fee of $75 USD each way.
Bicycles are included as part of the customer’s standard baggage allowance and will be accepted for a special charge per direction (charged at the airport on the day of departure). Bicycle equipment may consist of (1) non-motorized touring or racing bicycle with a single seat. Bicycles should be prepared for transportation by the customer. Bicycle must be placed in a cardboard or hard cased bike container. Bicycle tires must be deflated. Bicycles not enclosed will NOT be accepted.
* Spirit reserves the right to refuse transportation of these items due to safety and/or operational limitations.

Additional checked baggage size restrictions do not apply to Bicycles on flights to/from Peru and Havana, except during the travel embargo dates of December 1st to January 10th
