Vueling accepts windsurfing equipment for a special luggage fee starting at 55 EUR each way if purchased ahead of time. You will be charged a higher fee if paying for your windsurf bag at the airport.

Remember that in order to travel, your windsurf gear must be correctly packed, labelled and protected so that it can be carried safely. [AMZ asins='B07WSRXMS8,3903038180,3937323228,B00JE3E028']

A windsurfing bag is considered Special Luggage, so it cannot be included in your regular checked baggage allowance.

You will have to add your windsurfing equipment as a piece of Special Luggage by selecting "Windsurfing Sail" from the Special Luggage dropdown, either when making your original booking or by adding it to your reservation via the Vueling website or app later on. Keep in mind that it is much cheaper to pay for bringing your board bag online rather than at the airport.

Your windsurf bag may weigh up to a maximum of 32 kg / 70 lbs, with a maximum length of 2.70 meters. You should be able to fit one board and one sail/mast/boom within the 32 kg / 70 lbs, but if bringing more gear you may need to purchase 2x boardbags for your trip.

If flying with wing-foiling gear, your board bag should fit within the weight limit depending on the weight of your foil - you may need to split it up and pack some smaller pieces of your foil, such as the stabilizer and fuselage, into your regular suitcase to fit within the weight limits if flying with an aluminium foil.

You'll be told where to drop off your windsurf once you get to the check-in desk on the day of your flight - there is usually an Oversize Luggage drop-off area located in the check-in area of the airport terminal.
