The following restrictions apply to all Aeropelican flights, regardless of which airport is used.
All passengers occupying a seat are entitled to a total baggage allowance, of up to 19kg, free of charge.
Passengers flying to/from Snowy Mountains are entitled to baggage weighing up to 24kg, free of charge (during the winter ski season).
Excess baggage will be charged at a normal rate (see the Excess Baggage section below), but carriage on the same flight cannot be guaranteed. International passengers are entitled to a total baggage allowance weighing up to 24kg.
Due to the aircraft's baggage hold limitations, unusual baggage items exceeding 1.82 metres in length will not be carried.
Baggage weight limitations of 15kg per person may apply depending on weather restrictions.
Aeropelican makes every effort to carry your baggage reasonably in accordance with the dates and times of the flight specified. However, we accept no responsibility for baggage which is captured by Sydney Airport Corporation's baggage screening process. Aeropelican also cannot be held liable for charges relating to the delivery of the baggage.
Passengers travelling on Aeropelican flights who have excess baggage (exceeding the free baggage allowance of 19kg per person) will be charged an excess baggage rate of USD5.50 per kilo (GST inclusive).
Excess baggage charges can be paid at check-in prior to departure. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, EFTPOS or credit card.
Paying excess baggage charges does not guarantee uplift of excess baggage.
Wheelchairs & Mobility Aids
Aeropelican's fleet does not have access to a wheelchair lift to assist wheelchair passengers onboard. Passengers must be able to embark and disembark the aircraft independently, up and down the stairs.
Mobility aids such as walking sticks, crutches, canes and walking frames are permitted to be used to make your way to the aircraft, however they must be surrendered to the First Officer at the time of boarding and placed in the rear of the aircraft for the flight. These aids will be returned upon disembarking the aircraft at your destination.
Blind passengers must travel with a companion to assist them. If travelling with a guide dog, the airline must be notified so the booking can be noted. The passenger must supply the own mat for the dog to sit on whilst on the aircraft.
