Every Turkish Airlines passenger may bring 1 piece of 8kg (maximum dimensions 55 x 40 x 23 cm) as their hand baggage. Business Class passengers are entitled to 2 pieces of 8kg each.
Along with your cabin baggage, you are permitted to carry 1 other personal item (40 x 30 x 15 cm, max weight 4 kg) into the cabin free of charge, such as a handbag, camera, portable baby seat/carrier, laptop, or umbrella without a pointed tip. You can carry items bought from Duty Free, as long as you hold onto the receipt and keep them enclosed inside their special bag. These bags must remain closed until the end of your journey. On flights that transit via European Union countries or the United States, we do not allow Duty Free products over 100 ml in the cabin.
Please notice that in 2023, Turkish Airlines offers a cheaper "EcoFly" fare that does not include any free checked baggage on International flights. If you have purchased an "EcoFly" ticket, the below free checked baggage allowances do not apply, as you do not have any free checked bags allowed. If you do wish to bring a checked bag on an "EcoFly" fare, you will have to purchase a Checked Baggage Allowance on the Turkish Airlines website.
