In the cabin, for the comfort and safety of all on board, you are only entitled to one article of cabin baggage. This may be accompanied with accessories such as: a handbag, laptop computer, briefcase, coat, etc.

Medium Haul Flights

Max of 5 kgs but 10 kgs allowed on flights to/from Figari , Ajaccio , Palermo and catania .

Economy Class - 5 kgs
Galaxie Class - 10 kgs

For infants (0 to 2 years):

Carry-on bags should have a maximum length of 22 in, width of 13.8 in and depth of 9.8 in.

Medicines

Do not risk your medicines getting lost, keep them with you in the cabin. If they are in liquid form (syrups, phials, etc) or paste (ointment, gel, etc.), you must bring your doctor’s prescription showing explicitly the name of the medicines used in order to be permitted to carry them in the cabin.

On XL Airways France flights, your ticket includes a free baggage allowance (the weight loaded in the hold spread over a number of baggage item(s) at the customer’s choice), or application of the "piece concept" on flights to/from the USA (a maximum number of baggage items determined by the Airline with a maximum unit weight).

Medium Haul Flights

1 piece max of 20 kgs

Long Haul Flights

Economy Class - 1 piece - max of 20 - 23 kgs for overseas departments
Galaxie Class - 2 pieces - max of 20 - 23 kgs each for overseas departments

Regardless of the number of pieces, total excess luggage weight may not exceed 100 kgs per passenger on all flights

For Infants

10 kgs checked baggage on scheduled long-haul flights for passengers holding an electronic ticket with an XL Airways France ticket number (ticket number starting with 473).

A small baby stroller OR a baby car seat (e.g. Maxi Cosi) may be transported free of charge on all flights. Additional item: USD 68 per leg.

Extra piece - EUR 60/USD 84 per piece - max weight of 20 kgs
Additional kg for each piece with a weight between 21 and 32 kgs - EUR 6 / USD 8 per kg

Long Haul Flights

Extra piece - EUR 100/USD 140 per piece - max weight of 20 kgs
Additional kg for each piece with a weight between 21 and 32 kgs - EUR 10 / USD 14 per kg
