Fiji Airways Carry On 2023 - Cabin Bag Size & Weight Limit

Fiji Airways allows up to a maximum of 7 kg in one piece of cabin baggage for Economy flights.

Maximum dimensions for a standard carry-on suitcase on Fiji Airways are 55x40x23cm.

Non-compliant cabin bags will be removed from the flights, and charged a gate-check fee of up to $140 USD.

Personal Item on Fiji Airways
In addition to your standard carry-on suitcase allowance, you may also bring on board with you the following personal items for free:
A handbag
A pocket book or purse, which is appropriate to normal travel dress and is not being used as a container for the transportation of articles which would otherwise be regarded as baggage
An overcoat, wrap or blanket
An umbrella or walking stick
A small camera and/or a pair of binoculars
A reasonable amount of reading material for the flight

Customers travelling with children below the age of two (2) years are entitled to an extra 3 kg free cabin baggage allowance which may include baby items to be used during the flight, such as nappies and baby food for consumption in flight.

A pair of crutches, and/or braces or other prosthetic device for the customers use, provided that the customer is dependent upon them

You may bring a Wedding Dress / Gown or a 114 x 60 x 11 (185 cm) Garment Bag in place of your accessory item.

A Duty Free Bag purchased at the airport prior to boarding is also allowed as your personal item on Fiji Airways.

Fiji Airways Overweight Baggage Fee 2023 - Extra Bag Fee - Oversize Baggage

A piece weighing more than 30kg (66 lbs) will not be accepted as checked baggage, and will either need to be re-packed as separate piece or sent as Freight. Any piece exceeding the total dimensions will be charged the oversized/bulky item fee. And exceeding the weight of 23kg (50lbs) but less than 30kg (66lbs) will be charged the excess baggage rate.

It is possible to buy pre-paid excess baggage on flights between Fiji, Australia and New Zealand at a discounted rate. It is limited to buying a one bag of up to 23kg/50lbs extra.
