Any sporting item weighing over the 20 kilos allowance will be charged for the excess at the applicable excess baggage rate per kilo (currently set at 11 EUR / GBP per kilo).
We recommend booking 2 Large Sporting Items and packing your board separately from your quiver bag, so that neither bag exceeds the 20 KG weight limit. It will be easier to manoeuvre at the airport, and will come out cheaper than paying the overweight baggage fees per KG if exceeding 20 kg.
Be sure to plan ahead and add as many windsurfing bags as you need while making your original booking in order to get the discounted rate. As of 2023, the cheaper "online" rate only applies during the initial booking process - if adding sports equipment to an existing reservation, even when adding it online, you will already be charged the higher "at airport" price.
