TAM Airlines Excess Baggage Fees on Domestic Flights within Brazil and within South America
In the event of overweight baggage, 1% of the full fare (Full economy class, unrestrictive fare) for the segment traveled will be charged per excess kilogram .
It is possible to purchase discounted Excess Baggage from the TAM website, in increments of 5, 10, 20, or 30kg, at a rate of 0.5% of the full fare per kiloegram.
There is no charge for oversized bags. However, the sum of the dimensions of each bag (height+width+length) must not be larger than 292 centimeters or 115 inches. Otherwise, it must be checked as cargo.
