You are permitted to take hand baggage onboard. Hand baggage must be stowed under the seat in front of you or in the secure overhead locker. Therefore the maximum dimension is 50x40x25 cm and the weight must not exceed 8 kg.
The following travel items may be carried free of charge in the cabin, in addition to checked-in and hand baggage:
Laptop computer
Lady's handbag or similar
Large coat
Umbrella or walking stick
Small camera
Binoculars
A reasonable quantity of reading material
Baby food to be consumed during the flight
Aids required by disabled passengers
Medicine, which is required in case of emergency during the flight

The free baggage allowance applies to adults and children over two years of age. Children under two years of age, travelling free of charge or for 10 percent of the applicable price, are not entitled to a free baggage allowance or hand baggage.
The free baggage allowance is the same when travelling on a domestic flight connecting with an international flight as applies for the international flight, whatever the price that applies for the domestic flight.

Malmo Aviation's Customer Programme Gold Card holders are entitled to 20 kg of extra baggage without payment of an excess baggage fee.
Please note that the rules for free baggage allowance are not the same for charter flights.
Ensure that you always pack your own baggage and keep it under observation until it is checked-in. Please don't forget to label your baggage! The bags should be marked both on the outside and the inside.
We take no responsibility for baggage that is transported in the hold that contains:
Medicine, bottles containing alcohol, money, keys, jewels, securities, precious metals, passports, commercial samples, business documents, breakable items.

Domestic
The cost for excess baggage is 30 SEK, including 12 percent VAT, for each whole or part kilo over and above the baggage allowance for domestic travel.
International
The cost for excess baggage is 1% of the standard single fare per kilo over and above the baggage allowance. For further information, contact Malmo Aviation or your travel agency.
Brussels
Special rules apply for excess baggage when travelling to Brussels. Please contact our Call Centre on 46771440010 for more information.
Charter
The baggage allowance is 20 kg including hand baggage (for example 15 kg 5 kg of hand baggage). The cost for excess baggage over and above the allowance is 50 SEK per kilo.
Excess baggage fees
For scheduled flights (for example domestic or to Brussels), baggage over 20 kg - exclusive of hand baggage - counts as excess baggage. Any excess baggage incurs a fee.
The maximum weight of any item must not exceed 50 kg.
For passengers with a Company Ticket or with an Annual Season Ticket Card then the free baggage allowance is 50 kg.
In the event of excess baggage you will be directed to our ticket counter to pay any excess baggage fees.
Excess baggage ticket
In the event of excess baggage an excess baggage ticket must be issued, which you present to check-in personnel, before the baggage can be accepted. If you are continuing your journey then the transfer desk personnel must also be shown the excess baggage ticket. If the excess baggage ticket does not cover the entire journey then a new excess baggage ticket must be issued.
For special baggage (bicycles, golf bags, windsurfing boards, diving and skiing equipment) on charter trips please contact the travel agency where the charter trip was purchased.
Musical Instruments
Musical instruments are included in the free baggage allowance.
Double bass can only be carried in the case.
Cello can be taken on-board. Space must be reserved. An extra seat must be booked and paid for.
The fee for the extra seat is the same as the cost of the passenger's ticket.
When you travel at a discounted price, for example on a senior citizen or student ticket, then the full applicable price applies.

The baggage must be stowed under the seat in front.
Please note! You must reserve space for your baggage. When the seat for your baggage has been confirmed then you can place your baggage on the passenger seat.
Baby carriages
Baby carriages may be transported as baggage, but wheels must be removed during transport and the carriage must be packed in a baby carriage bag, in order to minimize the risk of damage.
