UNITED AIRLINES allows 1 piece of cabin baggage and 1 personal item for all first, business and economy class with a maximum dimension per piece of 19 x 31 x 53. This also applies to infants not occupying a seat.
For your safety and comfort we have provided baggage allowances for each class of service. Passengers with checked baggage exceeding the allowance stated below will be charged for excess Baggage. (Please contact your local EGYPTAIR office for details on excess baggage charges)

Baggage weight limitations
Please note that your checked baggage cannot exceed 32 kg per piece. This is in accordance with the local occupational safety rules .Passengers are required to re-pack their baggage if the baggage weight exceeds the limitation per piece as the baggage over 32 kg will not be accepted and must be shipped separately as freight or cargo.

If you have any special or heavy items of baggage, or extra baggage which is over your free allowance, you should be aware of what arrangements you need to make before you travel. Additional pieces over your free allowance are charged at the rates listed below. The following charges are in USD dollars.
For passengers exceeding their baggage allowance
Please arrive at the airport at least 90 min before your normal check-in time to pay the excess
Excess baggage is accepted subject to space availability
Currency exchange may affect amount to be paid
Applicable taxes are not included in the prices
Our check in facilities will close 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight
Passengers who exceed the weight limit will be asked to repack their excess baggage into smaller units and pay the appropriate charges before they can check in.
Special Baggage and Sports Equipment
If you are carrying special sporting items EGYPTAIR applies special excess baggage rates to these items. When they are within the free baggage allowance of your class of travel refer to baggage allowance, these are carried free of charge. Additional sets will be charged at the normal applicable rate of excess baggage.

Ammunition, Archery Equipment ,Bike, Firearms, Fishing Equipment ,Golf Equipment ,Scuba Equipment Skis/Snowboard, Wheelchair none powered (Manual powered), Wheelchair with Dry cell batteries.
Service Animals (seeing eye dog/hearing aid dog) subject to prior arrangement are carried free of charge.
But the following special baggage is not included in the baggage allowance schedule:
Cabin baggage in seat, Kite, Pets as checked baggage, Pets in cabin, small surfboard less than 2m/wake board, wet cell batteries.
The following special baggage will be checked as cargo:
Bike-Tandem, Bulk baggage, Hang Gliders, Kayaks, Surfboard
The following items should not be packed in sporting travel cases:
Sports holdalls and bags
Hang gliders
Windsurfing boards and sails
Surfboards
Kayaks, canoes and oars
Pole vaults
Javelins
Please contact your local EGYPTAIR cargo office to arrange carriage for any items that exceed the permitted weight and size.
Acceptance of sport equipment:
Sport equipment dealt as one piece including free allowance are one golf bag, one suitably packed bicycle, fishing equipment, one pair of skis, one pair of standard water skis and sporting firearms inside secured boxes plus one cartouche within (05) kgs.
Special Needs
To improve the accessibility of air travel to passengers with reduced mobility, EGYPTAIR has set a number of guidelines to ensure that these special needs are understood and provided accordingly.
Depending on an individual's condition, it may be necessary for some passengers with reduced mobility to prepare a Medical Information Form (MEDIF) and submit it in advance of their travel arrangements for due review and approval by EGYPTAIR.
