All passengers are allowed to bring a small underseat bag or personal item that measures 45 x 36 x 22 cm (17 x 14 x 8 in) with no weight limit. Additionally, all fares except for Economy Light include a carry-on or cabin bag that measures 56 x 45 x 25 cm (22 x 18 x 10 in) and weighs up to 10 kg (22 lbs).
If you have an Economy Light ticket and wish to bring a carry-on, you can purchase a carry-on allowance online for $45 or at the airport for $85. The number and weight limit of checked bags you can bring depend on your fare bundle type. If you have an Economy Light ticket, no checked baggage is included. For Economy Classic and Flextra, Premium Classic, and Flextra, 1 or 2 standard checked bags up to 23kg/50lbs are included.
Economy Light: no checked bags included
Economy Classic: 1 standard checked bag up to 23kg / 50lbs included
Economy Flextra: 1 standard checked bag up to 23kg / 50lbs included
Premium Light: no checked bags included
Premium Classic: 1 standard checked bag up to 23kg / 50lbs included
Premium Flextra: 2 standard checked bags up to 23kg / 50lbs each included
Adding a Checked Bag on Norse Airways
You can add checked baggage to your booking up to 4 hours before departure through the Norse Airways website. The charges vary depending on the weight of the checked baggage and whether it's booked online or at the airport. You may purchase a bag allowance of either 15 kg / 33 lbs, 23 kg / 50 lbs, or 32 kg / 70 lbs. Please note the increased Norse Airways baggage fees for tickets booked after April 20 2023.
Light Checked (15kg / 33lbs): $60 (online), at airport no available.
Standard Checked (23kg / 50lbs) : $70 (online), $125 (at airport) if you booked before 20 Apr 2023.
Standard Checked (23kg / 50lbs) : $75 (online), $130 (at airport) if you booked after 20 Apr 2023.
Heavy Checked (32kg / 70lbs): $170 (online), $225 (at airport)
The maximum number of checked bags per passenger is 9 bags.
Norse Atlantic Airways Overweight Baggage Fee 2023 - Extra Bag Fee - Oversize Baggage
You may add extra baggage to your booking either online or at airport. It is much cheaper to add extra bags online, up to 4 hours before your flight, rather than at the airport. Every passenger may bring up to a maximum of 9 checked bags.
Standard Checked (23kg / 50lbs) : $70 (online), $125 (at airport) if you booked before 20 Apr 2023.
Standard Checked (23kg / 50lbs) : $75 (online), $130 (at airport) if you booked after 20 Apr 2023.
Heavy Checked (32kg / 70lbs): $170 (online), $225 (at airport)
Overweight bags are bags that weigh more than your pre-purchased baggage allowance. A per kilogram fee of $18 per kilogram will be charged for overweight bags.
