Tunisair Carry On 2012 - Cabin Bag Size & Weight Limit

Only one bag is authorized on board, provided that the total of dimensions of the part does not exceed 115 cm, of a maximum weight of 10 kg for Business class and 08 Kg for Economic class.

The hand luggage must not, in any case, exceed the following dimensions: 55cm x 40cm x 25cm and must not weigh more than 10 kg (for Business Class) and 8 Kg (for Economic Class) (IATA regulation) so that it can be stowed under the seat or in the overhead compartment. Passengers should attach baggage tags for each item of luggage.

Bulky Baggage in Cabin
Bulky items or fragile luggage can be accepted in the cabin if an extra seat has been reserved in advance.

BE ACCEPTED IN CABIN PROVIDED RESERVING ONE OR SEVERAL
EXTRA SEATS DEPENDING ON BAGGAGE VOLUME PASSENGER WISHES

1) SEAT RESERVATION MANDATORY. .
2) IN ANY CASE THE MAXIMUM WEIGHT PER SEAT MUST NOT EXCEED 75 KILOS PER PIECE OF BAGGAGE.
3) IN THIS CASE THE RATE IS EQUAL TO THE RATE OF BAGGAGE EXCESS RELATED TO EFFECTIVE AND REAL WEIGHT TO BE CARRIED.THIS AMOUNT SHOULD NOT BE INFERIOR BY ONE EXTRASEAT TO 75% OF ONE WAY NORMAL FARE APPLIABLE TO THE CLASS PASSENGER TRAVELS IN AND TO THE ROUTE WHERE BAGGAGE IS CARRIED.
4) BAGGAGE MUST BE LOADED AND STOWED IN CABIN BEFORE PASSENGER BOARDING.
5) SEATS ALLOCATED TO CARRY BAGGAGE MUST NOT OBSTRUCT AN EMERGENCY EXIT.

Tunisair Checked Baggage Fees 2012 - Checked Bag Weight & Size Limits

Economy Class: 20 kg
Espace Privilège: 30 kg

Passengers flying in Economy class are permitted 20 kg plus one item of luggage and one accessory.

Passengers travelling "Espace Privilège" are granted a 30 kg baggage allowance plus 2 items of hand luggage and one accessory.

The carrier is exempt from liability relating to the following articles:
Money, jewellery, precious metals
Securities and businesses documents
Any valuable items
Fragile or perishable goods

For your safety
Do not check-in baggage that does not belong to you, or which was entrusted to you by unknown people.
Do not transport dangerous goods, flammables or liquids.

Bulky or heavy luggage can be transported by freight

Tunisair Overweight Baggage Fee 2012 - Extra Bag Fee - Oversize Baggage

Excess baggage taxation is asked at checking desk for the carriage of baggage exceeding the free baggage allowance and this according to the rules of each different carrier.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE ON TUNISAIR FLIGHTS IS:
- 20 KGS FOR ECONOMY CLASS "Y"
- 30 KGS FOR PRIVILEGE CLASS "C"
- 70 KGS FOR PASSENGER ON STRETCHER

IN GENERAL BAGGAGE EXCESS IS CALCULATED BY KILO AND IN
ECONOMY CLASS AT 1,5% OF THE HIGHEST ADULT NORMAL FARE
EXCEPT:
- 1,35% INTRA EUROPE TRIPS (TUNISIA TO EUROPE)
- 1% DEPARTURE AUSTRIA-BULGARIA-FINLAND
- 1% DEPARTURE EUROPE-MIDDLE EAST TO AUSTRALIA-NEW -
ZEALAND .

Disabled Passengers
You can request special services by completing a special request form when making your booking or by contacting TUNISAIR or sending an e-mail to [email protected] or to [email protected]

You are kindly requested to make your booking and notify Tunisair of your special requirements at least 48 hours prior to your flight.

Should you need:
To be accompanied by an attendant (or more)
An extra seat
Specific equipment
An assistance dog (unless restricted on some destinations)
A special meal

Just let our ground personnel know and we will be more than happy to provide you with the necessary information and authorisations.

A medical clearance will be required:
If you travel on a stretcher
If you have undergone a recent medical surgery
If you need medical oxygen

Your attending doctor must provide you with a medical certificate in order to obtain medical clearance from Tunisair Medical Services.

Airport ground handler will be informed of your needs recorded at your booking and will provide the necessary assistance to you.

In order to facilitate travel conditions for the disabled passengers and people with reduced mobility Tunisair provides a special service with priority boarding, transfers and disembarkation. For more information regarding these services and reservations please contact the local Station Manager 48 hours prior to the date of departure.
