AHA! Airlines will accept bicycles as checked baggage, but all standard checked baggage fees ($30 first bag, $50 2nd bag, $100 extra bag) will apply.

AHA! Airlines defines a bicycle as non-motorized and having a single seat, properly
packed in a hard-sided bicycle box that fall within the dimensions and weight limits established for normal Checked Bags.
Pedals and handlebars must be removed and packaged in protective materials so as not to be damaged by or cause damage to other Baggage. Bicycles packaged in cardboard or soft-sided cases will be accepted subject to a limited release of liability.
Bicycles larger than 80 inches (Maximum Outside Linear Dimensions or 203 cm) and/or weighing more than 70 pounds (32 kilograms) will not be accepted.
