Bicycles on Alaska Airlines are subject to the standard checked baggage service charge ($35 if first bag, $45 if second, otherwise $150), or free if within your regular free checked baggage limit. Alaska Airlines will waive any oversize and overweight fees for the transportation of your bike.

These increased 1st and 2nd checked luggage fees ($35/$45 vs $30/$40) apply to all flights booked on/after January 2nd 2024.
The higher $150 3rd bag fee applies on all Alaska Airlines flights purchased on/after June 30 2023. The previous fee was $100, which still applies to flights purchased before June 30 2023.
Bicycles on Alaska Airlines
One item of bicycling equipment is defined as one bicycle, non-motorized, with single or tandem seats. Alaska Airlines will only accept bicycles in a box or container.
