Scuba diving equipment is accepted on Iceland Air flights, and may be counted toward your regular free baggage allowance. If in excess of your baggage allowance, a sports fee will be charged.

Diving lamps may be carried in the cabin. Battery precautions must be taken to ensure they do not accidentally activate (see “Other” section for battery information).
If exceeding your checked baggage allowance, your diving equipment will be charged either a Small Sports Equipment (less than 44 lbs / 20kg) fee, or a Medium Sports Equipment (21-32kg / 44-70 lbs) fee, depending on weight.
Diving equipment may be added prior to departure by contacting our service center. A 20% discount applies compared to the airport fee, if paid in advance.
