Surfboards are permitted in checked baggage on Porter Airlines, as long as their maximum length is no more than 203cm (80 inches). This means that only small shortboards will be accepted. Mid-size, funboards, and longboards are too long to be accepted as they will not fit on Porter's small airplanes.

Due to the smaller planes that Porter flies, the size limit will be strictly enforced, as larger surfboards will not fit on the plane.
