Surfboards are not included in your regular checked baggage, and must be purchased separately as a piece of Surfboard baggage item on the Norse Airways website.
Norse Airways Surfboard Fee 2023

Surfboard Fee (23kg / 50lbs): Online - After Booking - $145

Your surfboard bag is limited to a maximum weight of 23kg / 50lbs, otherwise an overweight charge of $18 per KG will be charged, up to a maximum total weight of 32 kg / 70 lbs. No item weighing more than than 32 kg / 70 lbs will be accepted.
Your boardbag dimensions are limited to 250 x 79 x 112 cm / 98 x 31 x 44 in (L x H x W), with the total dimensions not to exceed 320 cm, so longboards are not accepted. You MUST notify Norse Airways at least 48 hours before your flight in order for your surfboard to be accepted at check-in.
