LATAM allows you to bring surfboards as checked baggage. LATAM will accept a maximum of 3 boards in each bag, up to a maximum length of up to 320cm long (10'5), so you should be able to bring a longboard - contact LATAM directly to confirm the size restrictions for the aircraft on your route.
Your surfboard is transported as a "Special Luggage Item", with a flat fee for sports equipment depending on the origin and destination of your flight. This fee depends on the exact origin and destination of your flight, but is generally around $50 on domestic flights and $150 on International flights. Be sure to note that the fees have been increased in 2023. [AMZ asins='B00HTA1Z6C,B00GGPK0V2,B00NIYJF6U,B0053TGSK4']
