Air Transat will accept a set of skiing equipment in place of a regular piece of luggage as part of your free checked baggage allowance. Regular excess baggage/extra piece fees will apply if exceeding your free checked baggage allowance, as if it were a regular suitcase.

You can prepay for and preregister your skis up to 72 hours (3 days) before your flight.
Skiing equipment is defined as the following:
1 pair of skis, 1 pair of boots, 2 poles, 1 helmet
Dimensions:
Regular size - Oversize baggage fees will not be charged.

Free within size, piece and weight limits. Standard baggage fees may apply. $100 Overweight baggage fee may apply (23-32 kg / 50-70 lbs).
Excess charges apply when free sporting equipment allowance (size/piece/weight) is exceeded.
Pole tips must be covered.
