KLM accepts golf clubs as checked baggage, in place of a regular suitcase within your free checked baggage allowance.
Golf bags will be treated as a normal bag in place of a standard suitcase. It can be part of your regular checked baggage allowance, and any standard baggage fees, excess bag fee, and overweight fees may apply if you exceed your allowance. [AMZ asins='B00CUEFDSS,B001P9IA0C,B09BZ2HB4T,B002LZA8PY']
Flying Blue Golf Club members may bring one golf bag in addition to their regular baggage allowance free of charge - you will need to present your Flying Blue Golf Voucher at check-in. This applies to flights operated by KLM, Air France, HOP!, and Air Corsica, and allows one bag up to a maximum of 23 kg / 50 lbs.
Protecting Your Golf Clubs for Air Travel
We recommend protecting your golf clubs with a Club Glove Stiff Arm Travel Club Protector or a BagBoy Backbone Travel Cover for extra protection during handling and avoid your clubs from getting bent or crushed while in transit.
