LATAM Airlines no longer includes golf equipment as part of your standard baggage allowance - you will now be charged LATAM's "Special Baggage Item" fee to bring a golf bag. You can travel with one single golf bag with clubs and one pair of golf shoes upon payment of the Special Baggage Item fee.
LATAM defines a "Golf Bag" as anything ranging from a single golf club to a set of 12 clubs and 14 balls (maximum) and a pair of golf shoes. [AMZ asins='B00CUEFDSS,B001P9IA0C,B09BZ2HB4T,B002LZA8PY']

Packing and Protecting Your Golf Clubs
When preparing your golf bag for air travel, it is highly recommended to protect your golf clubs with a simple BagBoy Backbone Travel Support Rod or a CaddyDaddy North Pole Golf Club Protector for extra impact protection during handling and to keep your clubs from getting bent or crushed while in transit.
