Contour Airlines accepts fishing equipment as sports equipment, and is subject to a $25 Sports Equipment Fee.

Contour Airlines defines fishing equipment as:
Two (2) rods
one reel
one landing net
one (1) pair of fishing boots
and one fishing tackle box (all properly encased)
Fishing Equipment will be considered as one (1) item of sporting equipment and allowed in place of one (1) checked bag. The total of all fishing equipment must weigh less than 50 pounds (22.7 kg)
Fishing equipment exceeding 115 linear inches will not be accepted as Checked Baggage.
