Fishing equipment on Allegiant Airlines is considered as a checked baggage with all applicable fees applied per person, per bag, per segment. All Baggage Fees are non-refundable. Applicable fees will be applied for those bags exceeding the 50 lbs. weight limit and eighty inches size limits. No baggage more than 100 lbs. will be accepted.
Allegiant considers fishing equipment as a fishing tackle box and fishing rod, so long as the rod is encased in a cylindrical fishing rod container suitable to Carrier for withstanding normal checked baggage handling without sustaining damage to the rod.
