Scuba diving equipment on Allegiant Air is considered as a piece of checked baggage with all applicable fees applied per person, per bag, per segment. All Baggage Fees are non-refundable.
Applicable fees will be applied for those bags exceeding the 50 lbs. weight limit and eighty inches size limits. The total number of bags allowed may not exceed 5 per passenger. No baggage more than 100 lbs. will be accepted. [AMZ asins='B00NIYJF6U,B001PB6R4Q,B009F1924K,B00ZHPLCS2']
If exceeding Allegiant's 50 lbs weight limit with your dive bag, you will be charged a $50 overweight fee as long as the bag is below 70 lbs / 32 kg. SCUBA bags weighing between 70-100 lbs (32-45 kg) will be charged an additional $75 fee.
Allegiant Air defines SCUBA equipment as an air tank and all accompanying equipment (BCD, mask, flippers, weight belt, etc.) encased together in a container acceptable to carrier. The air tank must be completely empty.
