Contour Airlines Windsurfing Fees and Policies

Contour Airlines accepts as checked luggage upon payment of a $25 Sports Equipment Fee. Be sure to contact Contour Airlines to confirm size restrictions before booking - their smaller planes have reduced cargo holds that may not be large enough to fit a windsurf board.

Contour Airlines Windsurfing Fee: $25 USD + $25 Overweight Fee if more than 23 kg/50 lbs (max 45 kg / 99 lbs) + $25 Oversize Fee

Note: Due to the size of the planes, there may be cargo hold size restrictions that keep you from flying with your windsurf gear on Contour Airlines. Please contact the airline directly to confirm size restrictions, and whether your windsurf gear will fit into the cargo hold.

Windsurfing equipment is not accepted during excess baggage embargoes.

Allow an extra 30 minutes at check-in when flying with windsurfing equipment.

Windsurfing Equipment is defined by Contour Ailrines as follows: one (1) windsurfing board not exceeding 115 linear inches and not exceeding 99 pounds (45 kg) with one (1) boom, one (1) mast, one (1) sail and necessary hardware will be considered as one (1) item of windsurfing equipment.
