Alpine skis, cross-country skis and snowboards on Air France
Ski equipment is considered as a standard checked baggage item and is included at no extra charge in your baggage allowance (except for Economy Light and Basic fare tickets).

Your ski equipment may include the following items:
Alpine and cross-country skis: 1 pair of skis + 1 pair of poles + 1 pair of boots
Snowboard: 1 board + 1 pair of boots
Please pack your skis or snowboard in a travel case that does not exceed 300 cm / 118 in length. Your ski or snowboard boots can be packed in a separate bag. These 2 baggage items (travel case and bag) are considered as 1 standard checked baggage item and their transport is included at no extra charge in your baggage allowance.
Please note: transporting an avalanche airbag (including a gas system and pyrotechnic trigger) requires approval from Air France customer service department. You must submit your request at least 48 hours before your flight's departure.
Water Skis on Air France
Water ski equipment (skis only) is considered as a standard checked baggage item and is included at no extra charge in your baggage allowance (except for Economy Light and Basic fare tickets). Please pack your water skis in a separate travel case that does not exceed 300 cm / 118 in in length.
However, if you want to transport more baggage items or if you exceed the baggage allowance for your ticket, you can purchase a Baggage Option online or pay a fee for this option at the airport.
