Vueling accepts your kitesurfing equipment for a special luggage fee starting at 55 EUR each way if purchased ahead of time. You will be charged a higher fee if paying for your kitesurfing bag at the airport.
Remember that in order to travel, your kitesurf equipment must be correctly packed, labelled and well protected so it can be carried safely. [AMZ asins='B01BN1W5G6,B01465RK8E,B00NIYJF6U,B003EBV7XG']
A kitesurfing bag is considered Special Luggage, so it cannot be included in your regular checked baggage allowance. You will have to add your kitesurfing bag as a piece of Special Luggage either when making your original booking, or by adding it to your reservation via the Vueling website or app later on. Keep in mind that it is much cheaper to pay for your kite gear online rather than at the airport.
Your kitesurf bag may weigh up to a maximum of 32 kg / 70 lbs, with a maximum length of 2.70 meters.
You'll be told where to drop off your kiteboard once you get to the check-in desk on the day of your flight - there is usually an Oversize Luggage drop-off area located in the check-in area of the airport terminal.
