SWISS Airlines will accept your golf equipment in place of a suitcase as part of your regular free checked baggage allowance.
Golf Equipment is defined as: 1 golf bag containing 1 set of golf clubs, golf balls and tees, 1 pair of golf shoes is considered as Category "Normal" sports equipment. [AMZ asins='B00CUEFDSS,B001P9IA0C,B09BZ2HB4T,B002LZA8PY']
Your golf equipment can be transported free of charge if within your free baggage allowance. If your free baggage allowance is exceeded by either the weight per piece or amount of pieces, you will have to pay the "Normal" Sports baggage fee.
Because SWISS Airlines Economy Light fares do not include any free checked bags, your golf bag cannot be transported free of charge as part of your free checked bag allowance - you will have to pay the "Normal" sports baggage rate.
