Golf equipment is considered one piece of baggage on Finnair.
The fee for golf equipment depends on the baggage allowance of your ticket as well as how much other baggage you're taking with you. If your ticket allows for a piece of checked baggage, a golf bag may be substituted for a regular suitcase. If you are bringing a golf bag in addition to your regular checked baggage allowance, you will need to pay the standard excess baggage fee for an extra suitcase, in addition to any applicable overweight/heavy bag fees.
The maximum weight of one set of golf equipment is 23 kg / 50 lbs. Golf equipment may comprise a set of golf clubs, one golf bag and one pair of golf shoes – all these items count towards the total weight of your golf equipment. If weighing more than 23 kg / 50 lbs (up to max 32 kg / 70 lbs), a "Heavy Bag" fee may apply.
