Air New Zealand accepts golf clubs free of charge as part of your regular free checked baggage allowance, in place of a regular suitcase. This is as long as your golf bag is less than 2.00 meters long, and weighs less than 23 kg / 50 lbs.

If your golf bag weighs more than 23 kg / 50 lbs, Air New Zealand's standard Overweight Baggage fee will apply, up to a maximum weight of 32 kg / 70 lbs.
