Fishing Equipment is not included in your regular checked baggage, and must be purchased separately as a Sports Equipment item on the Norse Airways website. A special Sports Equipment fee applies for flying with fishing rods on Norse Airways.

Sports equipment (23kg / 50lbs): Online - During Booking - $100
Sports equipment (23kg / 50lbs): Online - After Booking - $120
Sports equipment (23kg / 50lbs): At Airport - $145

Your fishing gear is limited in weight to 23kg / 50lbs, otherwise an overweight charge of $18 per KG will be charged, up to a maximum total weight of 32 kg / 70 lbs. No item weighing more than than 32 kg / 70 lbs will be accepted.
Dimensions of your fishing gear are limited to no larger than 250 x 79 x 112 cm / 98 x 31 x 44 in (L x H x W), with the total dimensions not to exceed 320 cm. If the total dimensions of L+W+H do not exceed 250 cm / 98 inches, you will not need to pre-notify the airline about your fishing rods, although we still recommend it. If total dimensions are greater than 250 cm, you MUST notify Norse Airways at least 48 hours before your flight in order for your fishing rods to be accepted.
