Scuba/diving equipment will be accepted on Caribbean Airlines flights, as long as it meets the following requirements:

SCUBA Equipment consists of not more than one (1) each of the following: empty scuba tank, air supply regulator, tank pressure gauge, tank harness, face mask, pair of diving fins, snorkel, knife, safety vest, air pistol, spear gun, and a weight belt is permitted. Knives must be carried in checked baggage, spear guns must be unloaded with spears packed separately, and compressed air/gas tanks will be accepted only if empty and open. Flares are not accepted. The maximum weight allowed per items is 23kgs (50lbs) and maximum dimensions (H+W+L) is 157cms (62 ins). Oversized sporting equipment will be permitted as excess baggage on a standby basis, at the applicable excess baggage charge ($75 USD oversize, $75 USD for Overweight).

Packing Guide

- Equipment must be securely packed in a travel case specifically designed for that piece of equipment.

- Be guided by the weight and dimensions allowed for equipment we carry at no extra costs.

- Overweight bags are permitted up to 32kg.

- Oversized sporting equipment will only be accepted as excess baggage on a space available basis, at the applicable excess baggage charge.
