SCUBA Diving gear is accept free of charge on Air New Zealand as part of your regular free checked baggage allowance, in place of a regular suitcase. Your dive bag must be less than 2.00 meters long, and weigh less than 23 kg / 50 lbs.

If your dive bag weighs more than 23 kg / 50 lbs, Air New Zealand's standard Overweight Baggage fee will apply, up to a maximum weight of 32 kg / 70 lbs.
