Windsurfing Equipment can fly on PLAY Airlines as a "Large Odd-Size Checked Bag". You must add this to your reservation in advance to get the cheaper rate.

Windsurf boards should be placed in a heavy-duty, appropriately-sized board bag. Please remove fins, cut foam pipe insulation covering and duct tape it down the rails of your board, protect the ding prone areas of your board such as the nose and tail, slide the board into a sock or bubble wrap bag if you have one, place the protected board in your board bag. No additional items other than your windsurfing equipment should be placed in the bag. Be sure to open the vent plug on your board before flying.

Please note that only a limited number of boards are allowed per flight, be sure to contact PLAY Airlines to reserve your spot ahead of time, to make sure your board bag is not turned away at the check-in desk.
