Surfboards are accepted on ITA Airways as a "Large Sports Equipment" item - your surfboard cannot be included in your regular checked baggage allowance.

To add your surfboard to your ITA Airways booking, you should select the "Large Sports Equipment" option. Remember to add it online ahead of time, rather than pay the higher fee when paying for your boardbags at the airport.
