Surfing boards, with the perimeter of 277cms (109 inches) or below, shall be charged excess baggage fees amounting to that of 5kg overweight; whereas, if the perimeter is longer than 277cms (109 inches), excess baggage fees amounting to that of 8kg overweight shall be charged.
Surfing equipment are special baggages and the consignment of such baggage requires consultation with China Southern Airlines in advance. With the approval of the company, surfing equipment can be consigned with charge according to special charge standards
