Flybe does not officially accept snowboards on its flights. Although they do accept skis (up to a maximum of 8 ski bags per flight), they specifically prohibit snowboards from flying on Flybe.
"Flybe do not accept snowboards" is the official text on Flybe's website regarding snow sports equipment. [AMZ asins='B07F8BZXFB,B085129W7P,B074FV9XFX,B083178YD3,B09HP9W8G8,B01MZYYICB']
You may try your luck by pre-booking a ski bag for your flight and bringing a snowboard instead. This should usually work, but be prepared that there is a small chance your snowboard will be denied at the airport.
For your reference, here is Flybe's Ski Policy if you would like to go that route:
A ski bag can contain no more than 1 pair of skis, 1 pair of poles and 1 pair of boots. The maximum weight allowance for a ski bag will be 23kg and cannot be taller than 167cm.
Skis on Flybe may be accepted for transportation upon payment of a sports equipment fee of 30 GBP.
Flybe accepts a maximum of 8 ski bags per flight. You must pre-book your Skis through "Manage by Booking" on Flybe's website - if the option to add a ski bag does not show up, this means that all ski bags for that flight are sold out, and your skis will not be accepted.
