Kitesurf Equipment can be brought on Frenchbee flights upon payment of the Large Sports Equipment fee.
The kiteboarding fee on Frenchbee is 100 EUR if paying online, or 125 EUR at the airport. For the discounted price, you MUST book your kitesurf gear a minimum of 48 hours before your flight. [AMZ asins='B01BN1W5G6,B01465RK8E,B00NIYJF6U,B003EBV7XG']
The kiteboard bag is limited in weight to 32kg (70 lbs) in weight. If your kite bag is weighing less than 23 kg (50 lbs), it may be possible to include it as a Standard Sports Equipment, passing it off as golf equipment, to save the 25 EUR difference. This is a little risky, so we do not recommend it as a good option to try and save 25 EUR.
Please note, if flying between Paris and Papeete (stop-over in San Francisco), it will count as 2 flights, so you will have to pay this fee TWICE.
All fees are one-way.
