Kitesurf equipment flies free of charge in addition to your free checked baggage allowance on Edelweiss Air.
Kitesurf bags fly for free as long as they weigh less than 23 kg / 50 lbs, and are shorter than 315 cm. Even though your kitesurf board bag flies for free, you will still have to register your board bag at least 4 days before your flight via the Edelweiss website.
If your kite equipment weighs more than 23 kg / 50 lbs, up to maximum of 32 kg / 70 lbs, you can still bring with Edelweiss, but you will have to pay the "Category Big" sports equipment fee, as follows:

Category Big (up to 32 kg): CHF 149.-
Flights to/from North Africa and Jordan:
Category Normal (up to 23 kg): CHF 0.-
