Kayaks are accepted for transport subject to pre-notification and confirmation by SATA Azores Airlines.
As of February 2023, Azores Airlines accepts your kayak upon payment of a Kayak Transportation Fee, as follows: [AMZ asins='B001F5AHKC,B013GMLBNS,B00NIYJF6U,B00WUIEK3I']
Domestic routes: 55 EUR per item
Europe and Africa routes: 60 EUR per item
USA, Canada, and Bermuda: 120 CAD / 90 USD / 75 EUR per item
Be sure to register your kayak by adding it to your reservation as early as possible, either online or by calling SATA Azores Airlines Reservations. If you do not pre-reserve a spot for your kayak at least 48 hours before your flight, it will not be accepted at the airport. You MUST call the airline to reserve your kayak before your flight.
