Avelo Airlines Golf Bag Fees and Policies

Avelo Airlines accepts golf equipment as a piece of standard checked baggage. Avelo's standard checked baggage fees apply, as well as any applicable oversize ($100) and overweight ($100) fees. Please note that these fees have increased in 2023, up from $50 each in past year.

Golf equipment (including clubs, balls and shoes) should be encased in a hard-sided golf bag carrying case provided by the customer capable of withstanding normal baggage handling without sustaining damage to the contents. [AMZ asins='B00CUEFDSS,B001P9IA0C,B09BZ2HB4T,B002LZA8PY']

Hooded golf bags or golf bags in a soft-sided carrying case provided by the Customer will be accepted subject to a limited release of liability, as outlined in our Baggage limitations of liability.

We recommend protecting your golf clubs with a BagBoy Backbone Travel Support Rod or a CaddyDaddy North Pole Golf Club Protector for extra protection during handling and avoid your clubs from getting bent or crushed.
