A single-seat tourist bicycle or a racing bicycle (other than a motor bicycle) shall be accepted for carriage as checked-in baggage upon preliminary agreement with the carrier. When bicycles are carried, it is recommended that, prior to packaging them, the treadles be removed and the handle-bar fastened. A passenger wishing to carry a bicycle shall inform the carrier thereof when reserving the seat or obtaining the ticket.
Bicycle shall be carried free of charge, if it does not exceed the free baggage allowance and shall be paid for as overweight baggage, if it exceeds such allowance.
